Shane D. Kieler

My wife, Shiro, and I have 2 children: Winston (born in 2017) and Zara (born in 2019). We live in Monona, WI, which is also where I grew up. Shiro is from Nairobi, Kenya, so naturally, one of our favorite things to do as a family is travel. Shiro is a radiologist at the UW Health University Hospital. We cherish each moment as we watch our family grow. 

I spent 3 years at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and then spent my final year at UW-Platteville, where I graduated with my accounting degree. What I love the most about being a financial advisor is the people that I’ve had the chance to share experiences with over the years. A lot has changed for me since I first became an advisor in 2010, and many of our clients have seen me go from a college student, to a financial advisor and to a father. Likewise, I’ve had the chance to see so many of our clients retire and enjoy their hobbies, travel to places they never thought they’d be able to go to, and become parents and grandparents. Having the opportunity to celebrate and share these moments with them is what I enjoy most about my job.
